Rimarex: Drug Information

Generic Name: Moclobemide

Brand Name: Aurorix, Trima

Drug Class: Antidepressant, RIMA

Uses of Rimarex :

Rimarex is an antidepressant drug that is used in the treatment of various mental disorders such as Major depressive disorder and social phobias. It has a weak presser response and acts upon sympathomimetics. As compared to tricyclic antidepressants and non-selective irreversible MAO inhibitors, this drug is well tolerated and has a relatively low over dose toxicity outline. It is void of adverse, anticholinergic, sedative, cardiovascular, cognitive and psychomotor effects.

You must take Rimarex as directed by your doctor at regular intervals with or without food. DO NOT stop taking the medicine even if you begin to feel better without consulting your doctor.
